Pilger Tornado

Members of Grace and Trinity.  Many of you heard about the tornado(s) that hit Pilger tonight.  The Lutheran church and parsonage have both been destroyed along with many homes.  Much help will be needed in the days and months ahead.  I will be calling upon those who wish to make a difference for our brothers and sisters, our neighbors here in Nebraska.  If you are willing to go and help, please contact Pastor by email (dkuhfal@gmail.com).
Pastor and Tami went tonight and helped at the Red Cross center set up in Wisner.  More information will be coming on ways you can help.  Let's show people how Nebraska Christians help each other!  Below you will find a prayer you can use for those effected by the tornado.  

Prayer: Most merciful Father, with compassion You hear the cries of Your people in great distress. Be with all who now endure affliction and calamity. Bless the work of those who bring rescue and relief, and enable us to aid and comfort those who are suffering that they may find renewed hope and purpose; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever (see Lutheran Service Book Altar Book, p. 993).
